Terre des hommes, in cooperation with The National CVE Coordination Center - Albania, successfully concluded the cycle of trainings for the employees of the community centers of the Municipality of Tirana. During this month, professionals had the opportunity to increase their knowledge, exchange experiences and strengthen professional capacities through three main modules:
▶️Journey in Challenging Circumstances – A methodological package for the establishment, support and sustainability of Children and Youth Advisory Boards in Albania, in the framework of the cross-sectoral approach.
⏩️Case Management and Multidisciplinary Interventions – The referral process and the role of the responsible institutions in providing coordinated services.
⏭️Parents as Partners: From Engagement to Positive Parenting – Working with parents in the community and building lasting relationships, fostering their active involvement in children's well-being.
Professionals face numerous challenges every day in working with children, young people and families, especially in the processes of reintegration and resocialization of people returned from conflict zones. Close cooperation with frontline professionals, as well as strengthening relationships with families, significantly increases the opportunities for more quality and comprehensive support.
Investing in professional capacities is an investment for a safer future for children, young people and families.
The project Resilience and Safe Reintegration for children and mothers returning from the war zones was funded by the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF), and implemented in partnership with the Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism (CVE Center).
